NEW PRODUCTION PLANT OF THE PINI GROUP

The second Pini Group project in Spain began operating on January 17 in the municipality of San Esteban de Litera.
Plant intended for the slaughter and cutting of mother sows has had an investment of more than 13 million euros and involves the creation of some 150 jobs, which will help the development of this region of Huesca.
“Cárnicas de La Litera allows the productive circle to be closed with the area’s farmers and its exclusive approach to large-sized breeding animals makes it a unique project of great value for the territory”, they explain from the company.

Also according to the same sources, the slaughterhouse has a production capacity of 125 heads per day, with the forecast of progressively reaching 1,600 animals/day.
