BRAZIL INCREASED ITS PORK EXPORTS
Brazilian pork exports have increased by 13% with a volume of 1.27 million tons, according to information from AHDB. Of which, slightly more than half was monopolized by China. Other destinations contributed to this growth: shipments to the Philippines quadrupled, those to Venezuela tripled.
Trade with China reached 687,000 tons, a volume that was limited by the drop in Chinese demand due to its internal recovery.
For 2022 and according to the same sources, AHDB expects a new growth in Brazilian pork exports of around 7%.
